How do I know these people are real?

Locojo works very hard to validate its members, we have various methods of doing this however we must all be diligent. Here are some tips to help you identify who you are dealing with.

1). Try and stick to locals, the closer someone is physically located to you the more likely they are who they say they are.

2). Ask them questions about the area that a local should know.

3). Are they claiming to have a degree in engineering however can't spell hello?

4). Don' t share addresses or even emails however speaking to them on a local phone number is one way to validate them. However we do not recommend you giving out your phone number until you are ready and not at all if you have any concerns.

5). Don' t be in a rush spend a few weeks or month chatting is a great way to get to know someone first.

6). Don' t ever send money regardless of their story¡¦

7). Build a network of friends and friends of friends, this is the best way to know if someone is genuine is if you have friends who know and recommend them.
